Saint Paul Lofts

Loft living originally became popular on the east coast and then as the real estate boom of the 1990s happened, Saint Paul lofts began to pop up.  The excitement of condo conversions and allure of large payouts pushed many former warehouse apartments to become loft condos.

There are really two different types of lofts:  old construction and new construction.  A traditional loft is an old warehouse or industrial space that has been converted into living space.  They often have little or no walls and have features such as concrete or wood floors and exposed brick walls and mechanical systems.  New construction lofts have many of the same features, but as the name implies, they are built new to resemble old.  They can offer more amenities and more choices.
