New MN Law Postponing Foreclosures

MaryAlice Short wrote a great article about how the State of Minnesota has now enacted a law to allow the homeowner to delay the sheriff’s sale up to five months. This applies to Saint Paul Homes and everywhere! Here is the only catch: If you are unable to bring the mortgage current during the five month postponement your redemption period is shortened from six months to five weeks.
